PPE Written Assessments

Under title 8 §3380 (f)(2), employers are required to conduct a written certification of all work place hazards to determine if hazards are present which requires employees to use personal protective equipment. OSTS will conduct an onsite evaluation to determine what specific PPE is required by observing employees at work. A report will follow with recommendations of the proper PPE for that employees should wear in order to perform their job safely. This report will then need to be certified/signed off by a manager, supervisor or an officer of the company.
