Bucket Truck Operator Safety Training

Description:
Prerequisite: Prior to performing the hands-on segment of our safety course, students must already know how to operate each particular piece of equipment to be covered in this safety course. Trainer does not teach how to operate this equipment.
In this course, the students will be introduced to the safety principles of operating a Bucket Truck. The topics addressed include but are not limited to:
- Cal OSHA’s required Safe Operating Instructions
- General safe operating principles
- Electrocution hazards
- Fall Protection concerns and requirements
- Fall Arrest Equipment
- Vehicle safety inspection
The practical evaluation portion of the course will include each student operating the piece of equipment while being evaluated by our instructor.
NOTE: During the practical evaluation exercise, each student will be required to wear their fall protection harness and lanyard. The practical evaluation component cannot be completed if there is a deficiency in the fall protection system used by client (i.e. non-compliant anchor point, lanyards, or harnesses) Equipment MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT.

Who Should Attend (ex. Employees who operate forklifts): All employees who operate the bucket truck and their immediate supervisors.
